Sumerian / Planet X

I came across this:

Sitchin has been deciphering 6000 year old cuniform tablets and sumerian clay cylinders from mesopotamia : persian gulf : iraq.
His translations are proving to be remarkable:
The Sumerians had a good understanding of our solar system... the planets sizes, positions, colours etc. Except that they also include an extra planet called Niribu (translated into the crossing planet, or planet of the cross) and symbolised as a cross in the sky.
And they count Earth in from the outside of the solar system, not out from the Sun. In other words, Earth is not measured as the 3rd rock from the Sun, but from an external point of view.
If this planet is real, how can we not know about it?
It is known that the outer planets of our solar system do not follow the predicted path that they should when calculated with the known mass of the planets. This suggests that there is more unidentified mass towards the outer edge of the solar system. In other words, one (or more) quite sizable extra planet. The missing planet has been called "Planet X".
Most of the planets in our solar system rotate about the Sun in a near circular orbit on a (mostly) flat plane, however the extra planet (Planet X) has an extremely elongated (comet like) orbit traveling from a very long way out beyond the known solar system, in to between the Earth and Mars orbits. And the plane of the orbit is near right angles to the other planets orbits, coming in beneath the plane of the other planets orbit, and going out above the plane. Only the nearest curve of its orbit is visible by eye from earth, appearing as a faint red star to the south (near the southern cross) at its closest appearing larger than the moon, and disappearing in the north skies.
It has been suggested that the sumerians called it the 'crossing planet', because it crossed the path of the other planets, however I believe they called it the 'planet of the cross' because that it where they first saw it coming from. In or near the Southern Cross.
The planets orbit is 3600 years long, and it is about 5 times the size of Earth.

The planet is well known to many ancient cultures, but we have long forgotten it.
The Sumerians call the planet Niribu (the crossing planet) (and they symbolised it as a cross in the sky)
The Egyptians call it The Destroyer
The Mayans call it the Red Comet and built their calendar around its return.
In the Bible in Revelations, it is called Wormwood
We now call it Planet X, but I imagine we will find another name for it in time.

The Sumerians version of the "Creation of Mankind" and of "Earth" itself, is very interesting, being directly connected to Niribu (the planet of the cross)
Remember, this was carved in stone, 4000 yrs BC.

Creation of Earth:
Many millions of years ago, a planet called Tiamat used to orbit further out where the asteroid belt now is.
According to the Sumerians, before Earth existed as we know it, Planet X collided with Tiamat and tore a huge chunk off it.

The result was:
Tiamat became a smaller planet (now known as Earth) and was pushed into a much smaller orbit, closer to the Sun.
The rubble that makes up the asteroid belt.
And the formation of Earths Moon.

Earth:

If you look at the reason behind Earths continental drift, you will see that all the continents used to be joined together on one side of the planet. One side of Earth was land, the rest was water. What you are looking at is half a planet, trying to be a whole planet.
When Planet X collided with Earth, it shattered the outer shell, sent millions of tiny pieces into space. A large chunk of earth and some of planet X broke loose and reformed as a semi molten mass going into orbit around what remained of Earth.
The molten core of Earth reformed as a smaller sphere, the outer shattered shell peices separated from each other and the waters rushed around (towards what is now the pacific ocean) to balance the planet.
Some of the larger Continents have large rivers feeding from one side to the other... this shows that some of the continents are tilted, one side high, the other low, like the broken bits of a large shell trying to fit onto a smaller egg. Ever since then, the spinning of the Earth has caused the continents to continue moving away from each other, towards the pacific, attempting to be evenly spaced, to try to even out and balance the planet.

Moon:

Earths Moon is the only orbiting body that continually faces one of its sides towards the object it orbits around. This is unusual. There can only really be three possible reasons for this:
One: Coincidence. The rate of its orbit around our earth matches exactly it's rate of spin, and always has done, purely by chance.
(This is unlikely)
Two: It has been artificially adjusted, as if by some alien hand, intentionally, for an unknown purpose.
(This is also unlikely)
Three: One side of the moon is heavier than the other. If it is made up of material from earth, and Planet X (a much larger and therefore denser planet) then this is very likely.
As far as I see it... this is almost proof in itself that the moon was made from two different sources.
(There is another possibility as suggested by some: Tidal friction. This could slow or effect the spin of orbiting objects that have partially liquid masses. However it shouldn't make the rate of spin any less than the speed of the tides. in other words... there should still be a slow but noticeable moon spin as the tides keep dragging on the moon)

Life:

Planet X caused the creation of the Moon.
The Moon in turn created the tides in Earths Oceans by the pull of its gravity.
The tides created an area of constant cyclic change between high and low tide around every land mass on Earth.
This narrow band of constant cyclic change created conditions perfect for the first life on Earth.
Whether life was created naturally from the repeating chemical changes, or was seeded there from some meteoritic source, this was likely to be the first life on Earth. (Unless some basic life survived from before the planets collision, but this is unlikely, because before the moon, life was much less likely to have evolved.)



Effects from Niribu/Planet X:
Niribu will not collide with Earth again.
Earth is now in a different smaller orbit, closer to the Sun, and Niribu has made well over a million orbits since the collision and has not hit us since.
However it doesn't have to hit us to cause some concern.
Depending on where Earth is in its orbit when Niribu comes by, it will make a huge difference to what effect it might have on us, if any.

Effect:
The last time it came by was documented in the Bible in Exodus when it talks of the plagues.

Note:
An important ingredient in the creation of life is phosphorous... and yet Earth does not naturally have any phosphorous.
All phosphorus on Earth comes from meteorites.
Meteorites also contain Iron. Iron in water turns red.
Swarms of Meteorites falling into the rivers and seas would turn the rivers blood red, create massive algal blooms that would saturate them with life, to the point where they would poison themselves with their own wastes. (plague of frogs that die)

Effect:
The previous time was Noah's flood.
Until we know exactly how close it will pass we cannot know the effect it might have on us.
The effects might be anything from Nothing... to Lightning Storms, Solar Flares, EarthQuakes, Volcanoes, Raining Meteorites, and High Tides.
It is likely that during Noahs Flood, that Niribu passed very close... close enough for its huge gravitational force to pull on the waters of Earth, so that as it approached from the south, the southern oceans gradually became deeper and deeper until most of the planets water was in the southern hemisphere, and all the southern lands were submerged. Then as the planet passed by and left towards the north, all the waters rushed towards the northern hemisphere, flattening everything in its path.

The planet should be visible for up to a year before and after its closest point to Earth, and detectable up to 2 years either way.

Creation of Man:
How did the sumerians know all this? Well this is where the story gets just a little bit weirder.
They believed that the Gods came from Niribu. Whenever the planet came close to earth, they would visit.
(The gods were blue eyed, pale skinned, red haired. The males were bearded. This description was written as if these features were not the norm for humans.)
The story tells of how a small hand-full of 'Gods' came to earth on a rescue mission. The atmosphere on their planet was dying, and apparently it could be repaired somehow with gold. A lot of gold.
They found that they didn't have the numbers to mine large quantities of such a heavy metal, so one of the gods (a female who specialised in genetic manipulation) created some helpers. (Her symbol was two snakes entwined, very much like todays medical symbol, except that it had what looked like the rungs of a ladder between the two snakes. Her symbol was basically our symbol for DNA.) She took dna from the gods and added it to the local simians making them more in her own image. The first human had organs missing, the second had limbs missing, the next was perfect, so she made a thousand of them, and they were all male, and it was good. They became the workforce to mine the gold.
So as not to have to keep making humans to replace the damaged ones, she created the first female, and allowed them to create their own replacements.

Angels or Devils?:
I have just come up with an idea, and as far as I can tell this hasn't been thought of anywhere else yet. but it does seem to tie together many of the threads of this story, and makes sense.
The Gods were often show in, or having come, from a winged or horned disk.
it is very easy to assume that the sumerians were maybe trying to depict the way that the gods were first seen, in flying disks, or ufo's. However I have another suggestion.
The winged or horned disk is a description of the coming planet. a description of its mood.

Is the coming planet a reason to celebrate or be afraid? Will the planet be good or evil?
Why have we linked 'Winged Gods' to a feeling of being saved, and 'Horned Gods' to living hell and damnation? why are Angels, and Sons of God often shown with Halos?

There has been mention (from some sources) of fire raining from the skies, of the planet being bombarded by millions of flaming rocks etc. This suggests that Niribu may have swarms of asteroids traveling with it. My suggestion is that Niribu is a ringed planet just like Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter and Neptune.
When the planet is first seen as it approaches us, it is coming up from the south. We are looking down on it.
Imagine, as it comes closer we are able to see a large ring around it. It is tipped slightly downwards so that the ring is seen from an oblique angle.

Planet X with Halo: left - Horned, right - Winged

(I have been toying with the idea of the Horned/Winged effect being caused by shadows, but have decided that the most likely cause for the effect is something else.)
Rings (halos) around planets are not always even.
The unevenness of Niribu's rings are most likely caused by another planet (possibly even Earth) having passed through the plain of the rings, removing a huge section of them. Leaving the rings with a gap in them.
1. If the gap is facing away from us when the planet passes by, it will appear to have horns, and the chances of us being bombarded with millions of flaming rocks, boiling skies, Hell on Earth, becomes a huge possibility. The Horned planet will become the most feared symbol of all time.
2. If the gap is facing towards us when the planet passes us by, it will appear to have wings, and since the debris has been cleared from the closer side of the planet, it will be relatively safe to pass through.
If there is any truth to the Sumarians story of the Gods coming from Niribu, then this 'Winged' planet could symbolise the greatest time in our recorded (and translated) history, the meeting of our Creators, the second coming, the sons of god visiting Earth, and angels from heaven.
We will know one way or another in 3 - 4 yrs.

If humans are all half-breeds, half simian half god, then gods could appear to be similar enough to humans to almost pass as one, except that in the same way that races look different, a god would look different.
If jesus was a halfbreed... half god, half human, (son of God and Mary)... did he look different from the others around him? (red hair, blue eyes, pale skin, beard) did he stand out?

2012:
• In 2012, asteroid 2004MN4 comes into view again to recalculate odds of impact.
• January 31 — 433 Eros, the second largest Near Earth Object on record (size 13x13x33 km) is expected to pass Earth at 0.1790 astronomical units (~16.647 Million Miles) (1 AU – about 93 million miles – is the average distance from Earth to the sun). NASA studied Eros in the NEAR Shoemaker probe launched February 2000. 
• A Russian scientist named, Khabibullo Abdusamatov predicts the Earth will enter a stage of cooling between 2012–2015 and the little ice age will be similar to that of the one in the 1300s-1700s. The cooling will peak around 2055-2066.
• NASA predicts that the Sun will also reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 as result of reaching the end of current 11-year sunspot cycle. Some believe this will amplify the effects of retarding magnetic field on earth, as harmful charged particles blasted away from the sun would more easily penetrate the earth's atmosphere. 
• December 21 — The Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, notably used by the Maya civilization among others of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, completes its thirteenth b'ak'tun cycle since the calendar's mythical starting point (equivalent to 3114 BC August 11 in the proleptic Gregorian calendar, according to the "GMT-correlation" JDN= 584283). The Long Count b'ak'tun date of this starting point (13.0.0.0.0) is repeated, for the first time in a span of approximately 5,125 solar years. The significance of this period-ending to the pre-Columbian Maya themselves is unclear, and there is an incomplete inscription (Tortuguero Stela 6) which records this date. It is also to be found carved on the walls of the Temple of Inscriptions in Palenque, where it functions as a base date from which other dates are computed. However, it is conjectured that this may represent in the Maya belief system a transition from the current Creation world into the next. The December solstice for 2012 also occurs on this day.
• December 23 — The alternative date for the completion of the thirteenth b'ak'tun cycle in the Maya calendar, using a version of the GMT-correlation based on a JDN of 584285 (a.k.a. the "Lounsbury correlation"), which is supported by a smaller number of Mayanist researchers.

• October 18 - at 20:36 (Eastern Daylight Time) October 19 — at 1:36 GMT,, the Earth will be home to 7 billion, according to the US Census Bureau. 

• June 6 - Second and last solar transit of the planet Venus of this century; the next pair is predicted to occur in 2117 and 2125 (see Transit of Venus, 2012).

2012 is sometimes claimed to be a year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse). Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order, although there is a distinct lack of evidence from the extant records of the pre-Columbian Maya civilization that they themselves considered this occurrence in 2012 would signify end of the world.
Accordingly, several eclectic authors claim that a major, world-changing event will take place in 2012:
• The 1995 book The Mayan Prophecies linked the Maya calendar with long-period sunspot cycles.
• The book 2012:Mayan Year of Destiny claims the Maya may have been instructed in their wisdom by discarnate entities from Orion and the Pleiades. Contact was maintained through shamanic rituals conducted in accordance with the movements of planets and stars.
• The 1997 book The Bible Code claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth.
• The book The Nostradamus Code speaks of a series of natural disasters caused by a comet (possibly as above) which will allow the third anti-christ to disperse his troops around the globe under the guise of aid in preperation for a nuclear war.
• The book The Orion Prophecy claims that the Earth's magnetic field will reverse.

Other prophecies and apopolyptic writings and hypotheses for this year include:
• Terence McKenna's mathematical novelty theory predicts a point of singularity in which humankind will go through a great shift in consciousness.
• The Prophecy of the Popes, attributed to Saint Malachy, speculated that Pope Benedict XVI would reign during the beginning of the tribulation of which Jesus spoke, and sometime later a future pope described in the prophecy as "Peter the Roman", the last in this prophetic list, would appear, bringing as a result the destruction of the city of Rome and the Last Judgement.
• Many new age spiritualists and philosophers ("new-agers") believe humankind will enter an age of enlightenment in 2012. There are a range of varying, generally positive, beliefs shared by a subset of spiritualists from the mundane to exceptional -- including a positive social shift and age of peace, mankind becoming psychic and connected by a collective, and/or an evolution of the human race into non-corporeal beings made of "spiritual" energy, or light energy. An alternative view is that we are already thought-forms (see also idealism) and will be realizing our true selves in this year.
• Some alien-enthusiasts, along with some new-agers, believe 2012 to correspond approximately with the return of alien "watchers" or "caretakers" who might have helped the first human civilizations with developing their technology and may have been waiting for us to reach a higher level of technological and/or social advancement. Beliefs range from the extra-terrestrials having benevolent purposes -- such as to help human society evolve -- to malevolent purposes -- such as enslavement of mankind and/or manipulation.
• The ascetic Buddhist monk Ram Bahadur Bomjon reportedly told his followers that he will return around 2012.
• Some proponents of a peak oil catastrophe place major events in 2012. Richard C. Duncan's book The Peak of World Oil Production and the Road To The Olduvai Gorge claims that the Olduvai cliff will begin and permanent blackouts will occur worldwide. Several studies predict a peak in oil production in or around 2012.



The last solar cycle was in 2001. Each active solar cycle has a period when the flares are strongest, usually happening near the solar equator, called the "solar maximum." This is significant because the next "solar maximum" event will coincide with December 21, 2012.

The Galactic Alignment of December 21, 2012
Our solar system is part of a huge disc shaped collection of stars and planets called the Milky Way. We're located somewhere on the edge of the disc, slightly on top of the narrow disc. But very soon we'll be moving to the bottom of the disc. This change, from top to bottom, begins on December 21, 2012.
Yes, that's right. On the same day when our Sun is at it's solar maximum, something will happen that's never happened before -- the ecliptic of our solar system will intersect with the Galactic plane, called the "Galactic Equator" of the Milky Way! [see star chart]
If you imagine our solar system as a bunch of peas on a plate, with a huge meatball in the center, imagine the Milky Way as a city-size pizza with the "Guiness World Book Record Meatball" in its center!
Prior to December 2012 we have been drifting on the top of the pizza, never really able to see the bottom. The plate and pizza are not parallel. They are moving at different angles. We've been drifting down, down, down... and on December 21st, 2012, we will be exactly level with the crust -- forming an "x" at the Galactic Equator where galactic gravity is the strongest. After 2012, if we are still here, we will be passing through the bottom zone, viewing the Milky Way pizza from the South.
Yes, there's even more!

By some amazing coincidence, not only will we be intersecting with the Galactic Equator, but we will be doing this precisely aligned with the center of the Galaxy where there is maximum mass! More mass means more gravity. More gravity means more influence from those barycenters in our Sun. That means exponential increases in solar disruptions -- all coinciding on the same day! Whew!
